What was the basis for the acquisition?

Our vision is to become the preeminent national platform for the delivery of managed services, colocation, dedicated servers and virtualized application services.

This combination of HostMySite and Hosting.com creates positive growth and numerous benefits such as an expanded menu of managed services and extensive depth of experience. The combined pool of top customer support representatives and innovative product development reinforces HostMySite’s vision of being a trusted partner with world class technology solutions.

Is HostMySite financially stable?

HostMySite is cash flow, EBITDA and net income positive. The company grew its revenues by 34 percent and EBITDA by 76 percent from 1Q08 to 1Q09. HostMySite has over 230 employees and hosts thousands of Websites today.

Who are HostMySite’s investors?

Wachovia Capital Partners (WCP) is a growth-stage private equity firm headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. Since the group's inception in 1988, WCP has invested in excess of $3.5 billion of private equity capital across over 200 technology services, healthcare and energy companies. WCP does not generally fund start-up ventures, but instead focuses on investing in profitable companies that require investment to accelerate their growth. WCP currently invests from a $1.8 billion fund.

Will the service offerings change?

No. HostMySite continues to offer flexible, scalable and affordable solutions for information technology departments by offering a full range of world class hosting and colocation solutions. Whether the need is managed dedicated hosting or colocation, our goal is to customize services to meet our customers’ needs.

How does this acquisition benefit customers?

  • Customers will now have an expanded inventory of datacenter space with locations in Irvine, CA; Louisville, KY; Newark, DE and San Francisco, CA.
  • The operational support team will be expanding to well over 200 support technicians. As we join forces we will continue to concentrate on our top priority of superior customer support sustaining HostMySite’s commitment to answering support calls directly in three rings or less.
  • Customers will now have an opportunity to use datacenters maintained under strict guidelines to meet and sustain SAS-70 Type II and Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance requirements.
  • Development of high-availability and BCDR solutions across multiple coast-to-coast datacenters.
  • Aggressively financing datacenter expansion to continue to meet the needs of our customers.

Will I see any change in my current services or how my services are delivered?

HostMySite customers will not experience changes in their service.

Hosting.com customers will now have the added benefit of Entourage methodology. Entourage is a personalized dedicated support team devoted to meeting specific business needs quickly and efficiently with regard to a customer’s distinct application configuration, ticket history and operating procedures. As these improvements/enhancements take place, we will communicate these benefits and modifications through your appropriate contacts and customer communications.

What number should I call for support center needs?

Continue to use the support numbers you have.

Can I still contact my Account Executive for questions about my service(s)?

Yes, please continue to contact your Account Executive.

Will there be any changes to my Control Panel?

Use the same control panel(s) that you use today. We are actively investing in the development of an enhanced portal for improved usability.

Will there be any changes in how I am billed or my billed amount?

No, there will be no changes to your billed amount. However, as we make the migration to a uniform billing system the look of your bill may change.

Will my transactional information be securely transferred and stored?

Yes, both Hosting.com and HostMySite take pride in using industry best practices for securing customer equipment and information. HostMySite will continue to maintain these stringent standards.
