Commercial Sales Manager Denver, CO
The role of the Commercial Sales Manager will be to manage and direct the efforts of the Commercial Sales team, promoting and selling Hosting.com’s “Always On” Cloud Availability and Recovery solutions in a professional and businesslike manner to achieve Hosting.com corporate sales objectives. The position will adhere to, and promote, the Hosting.com core values and mission, and contribute to the success of the team.
Responsibilities:
· Oversees the Commercial Sales team to maximize sales revenues and meet Hosting.com sales objectives
· Build a solid Commercial sales team that exceeds sales goals
· Ensure that team’s sales pipeline remains full with qualified prospects & opportunities
· Coordinates appropriate company resources to ensure efficient and consistent sales
· Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams
· Lead the opportunity and pipeline inspection process for the Commercial Sales team
· Monitor sales rep productivity and motivate team to reach daily goals
· Evaluate and improve team sales processes, using SalesForce.com reporting and other tools
· Supervise team in accordance with company policies & procedures
· Provide coaching for existing Account Executives, and training for new reps
· Conduct employee interviews and staff orientation
· Manage performance & salary reviews, and develop employee development plans
· Resolve interpersonal issues within team and escalate if required
Qualifications/Required Skills:
· In depth knowledge of Hosting.com's products & services, pricing practices, and selling skills
· Effective management skills with ability to manage a good amount of the company's sales operations
· A self starter with excellent time management, communication, decision-making, human relations, presentation, and organization skills
· Ability to "player-coach" as necessary
· Record of past quota and over-quota achievement
· Ability to communicate technical info and ideas to a variety of internal and external audiences
· Ability to make good decisions considering the cost benefits of potential actions
· Hands on ability to coach and motivate team members to achieve their assigned goals while building revenues
· Ability to promote a cohesive culture within the Commercial Sales team that includes teaming with other Hosting.com sales teams
· Ability to identify, recruit, and develop a successful team
· Requires 3-5 or more years of progressive experience in sales management
· Demonstrated ability to provide top notch customer support
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales management
