Network Operations Technician - Dallas, TX (1)

The Network Operations Technician assists the Manager of Network & Security Operations with day to day maintenance, management, and long-term planning of the Hosting.com network.

Responsibilities:

· Day to day maintenance of HOSTING.COM switching and routing infrastructure

· Firewall policy administration

· Ensures VPN and firewall connectivity

· VLAN and switchport builds for new server deployments

· Resolution of tickets escalated to Network Operations

· Must be available for overnight maintenance windows as necessary

· Must be available for on call work as necessary

· Performs all other duties as requested or required

Qualifications / Required Skills:

· Minimum 5 years experience in related field

· Ability to learn and communicate technical information

· Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

· Must possess strong interpersonal skills in order to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
