Load Balancing
How Our Solution Works
Hosting.com's Load Balancing services are offered as "shared" or "dedicated" providing web server traffic management services, including monitoring of the local balancer's status, a hot back-up spare, and installation of vendor patches and upgrades, as available, from a single location based on defined traffic distribution policies.
Hosting.com provides the hardware and software necessary for load balancing as part of Hosting.com equipment. Our load balancing vendors are F5 BIG-IP LTM (Shared and Dedicated) and Coyote Point Equalizer (Dedicated).
- Shared service is available to multiple customers on a shared architecture of redundant web switches.
- Dedicated service provides a dedicated architecture of redundant web switches to one Customer.
