Expand Cloud Enterprise Disk Space After Adding it via the Control Panel
This article will show you how to expand the disk space for a Cloud Enterprise after you have added the extra space via the control panel. This is necessary as the disk space will be unallocated once added via the control panel. This is only applicable to Cloud Enterprise hosting accounts.
-
Log into the server via Remote Desktop. If you are unsure how to Remote Desktop into the server, please see How do I connect to my server using Remote Desktop Connection?
-
Click Start > Run and type 'diskmgmt.msc'. Click OK.

-
The Disk Management window will appear. From the Action menu, select Rescan. This will rescan the disk for any unallocated space.
-
Once the disks are rescanned, there will be an unallocated portion of the disk. Right-click the disk you wish to expand and choose Extend Volume…

Allocate as much of the disk space you need for that drive and click OK. The disk will now report the expanded size.
