Upload VMDK / Flat-File and Deploy VM from Customer Portal
- Browse to the Customer Portal located at https://customer.hosting.com
- Login as the administrative user.
- If you have more than one account, select the appropriate account from the Current Account drop down in the top right corner.
- From the menu, click Cloud > Upload VM.
- Choose a deployment location and click Launch the VM Upload Tool.
- Upload your VMDK with our online FTP manager. Please upload a ".vmdk" and "-flat.vmdk" file, both are necessary for deployment.
- When prompted, download and install the FileCatalyst applet.
- Click "run", after installation.
- Browse to your VMDK and double click the file to move it to the right window pane. Your VMDK is now in the queue to be uploaded.
- Click the start arrow to begin your upload.
- Pause or Cancel your upload by hitting the red "X".
- If you get disconnected, you can always resume your upload at a later time. The transfer will continue from where you left off.
- If you have troubles with the applet loading, close all of your browser windows and log back into the control panel and try again.
- After uploading is complete, you must initiate your deployment by clicking View My VMDK then Deploy File
- Be patient. It will take approximately 24-48 hours to move and deploy your VMDK to our cloud depending on the file size.

Once the VM has completed deployment you will receive your set up email with log on information and IP address. If you have questions in the mean time just email cloud@hosting.com
