How do I change my passwords through the Control Panel?
The following article explains how to change your account passwords. You have the ability to change the following passwords:
To change the Account Administrator password, please follow these steps:
- Open a browser window and go to www.HostMySite.com.
- Click on Control Panel Login.
- Log into the Control Panel as the Account Administrator and select the appropriate domain.
- Click on Account & Billing and select
Personal Profile.

- Under Links, click Reset
Password(s).

- Check Control Panel and click Send
Email.

You will receive an email that contains a link you can use to enter a new password. You also have the option to click the link that is displayed to reset the password.
To change a Technical Contact password, please follow these steps:
- Open a browser window and go to www.HostMySite.com.
- Click on Control Panel Login.
- Log into the Control Panel as the Account Administrator and select the appropriate domain.
- Click on Account & Billing and select
Manage Contacts.

- Click the Technical contact you wish to update.

- Under Links, click Reset
Password(s).

- Check Control Panel and click Send
Email.

You will receive an email that contains a link you can use to enter a new password. You also have the option to click the link that is displayed to reset the password.
To change a Billing Contact password, please follow these steps:
- Open a browser window and go to www.HostMySite.com.
- Click on Control Panel Login.
- Log into the Control Panel as the Account Administrator and select the appropriate domain.
- Click on Account & Billing and select
Manage Contacts.

- Click the Billing contact you wish to update.

- Check Control Panel and click Send
Email.

You will receive an email that contains a link you can use to enter a new password. You also have the option to click the link that is displayed to reset the password.
To change an FTP user password, please follow these steps:
- Open a browser window and go to www.HostMySite.com.
- Click on Control Panel Login.
- Log into the Control Panel as the Account Administrator and select the appropriate domain.
- Click on Website Administration and click
FTP Manager.

- Select the FTP User and click Edit.

- Click Update Password.

- Enter the new password twice and click Update FTP User Password.
To change an email users password, please follow these steps:
- Open a browser window and go to www.HostMySite.com.
- Click on Control Panel Login.
- Log into the Control Panel as the Account Administrator and select the appropriate domain.
- Click on E-Mail and select Manage
Users.

- Select the user and click Edit User.

- Enter the new password.

- Click Change Password.
