Modify the Default Document Order for a Windows Account

Default Documents are specific filenames, such as index.htm or default.aspx, that the server will look for in your home directory. By default, the order is:

Default.aspx; Default.htm; Default.asp; index.htm; Default.aspx; index.asp; index.aspx; index.cfm; index.html; default.cfm

To modify the default document order, please follow these steps:

1. Open a browser window and go to www.HostMySite.com.
2. Click on Control Panel Login.
3. Log into the Control Panel as the Account Administrator and select the appropriate domain.
4. Click Internet Information Server (IIS).
5. Click Default Documents.
6. Move the document name up or down as needed.
7. You can add new documents, however it is better practice to use the existing names.
