Preview Website on a Linux Server via cPanel
Let's make an example that your server IP address is 1.2.3.4 and your domain is mydomain.com. You are working on the site and want to test the site on your server at Hosting.com, but you are not ready to update DNS just yet.
With cPanel you have a very simple method of previewing your site by browsing to http://<ip address>/~username
If you are not familiar with the cPanel user name, simply log into the WHM using the server's root login information at https://<ip address>:2087, for example https://1.2.3.4:2087

Once you've logged in Select List Accounts under Account Information.

From this screen take note of the Username

To see this site's content you would use http://1.2.3.4/~mydomain.
