Add a New Alarm for Virtual Machine through Customer Portal

You can create alarms that will notify you when certain conditions are met on your VM.

1. Log into the Customer Portal at https://customer.hosting.com



2. From the top navigation hover over Cloud and select Manage



3. Select the Virtual Machine for which to to configure the alarm



4. Click Add a New Alarm



5. Enter a Name for the Alarm
6. Select Type from the Type select box e.g. RAM or CPU
7. Select Operator from the Operator select box e.g. Is Above or Is Below
8. Enter a Warn Value % and Fail Value %
9. Enter E-Mail Address to be notified
10. Click Create



11. You will receive notification upon Success
