Schedule Virtual Machine Operations via the Customer Portal

This article goes over setting up scheduled Virtual Machine operations such as rebooting via the customer portal.

1. Log into the Customer Portal at https://customer.hosting.com with your email address and password.
2. In the top navigation menu, select Cloud > Schedule VM Operations.  If you do not see this option, you are not authorized to view this portion of the customer portal.  Please contact your account administrative user for assistance and permissions.

3. Click the check box next to the server number for the Virtual Machine for which you want to schedule an operation (if you have more than one). Also select whether you want to schedule the operation for now or at a later date. The options to choose from are:
   • Park VM
   • Unpark VM
   • Restart OS
   • Shutdown OS
   • Start VM
   • Stop VM
   • Restart VM
   
4. Click the appropriate button next to the Virtual Machine to perform the task.  If selecting to perform the task at a later date, enter the date into the text field and a time for the task to be performed.  Then click the appropriate button next to the Virtual Machine to perform the task at that time.
