Submit a ticket to support via the Customer Portal for Avamar

This article will go over submitting a ticket to Avamar support for changing the backup schedule or performing an on-demand backup via the Customer Portal. This applies only to Cloud and Dedicated accounts using Avamar. This does not apply to those servers running Righteous.

  1. Log into the customer portal at https://customer.hosting.com with your email address and password.
  2. Once logged in, navigate to the Backups tab.

  3. From the drop down, select Schedules (or any of the drop down options).
  4. If you wish to change the schedule or create an on-demand backup, you will need to click the Email Support button on the left side of the page. Note: This does not go to Hosting.com Support and we cannot check the status of a ticket for you. Instead, this goes directly to Avamar Support and includes your contact information.
