Upgrade Cloud Enterprise Virtual Machine Resources via the Customer Portal

This article will provide you with the steps to increase the resources of a Cloud Enterprise Virtual Machine via the Customer Portal. This is only available for Cloud Enterprise accounts.

  1. Log into the Customer Portal at https://customer.hosting.com with your email address and password.
  2. In the top navigation menu, select Cloud > Manage.  If you do not see this option, you are not authorized to view this portion of the customer portal.  Please contact your account administrative user for assistance and permissions.
  3. Click the server number for the Virtual Machine for which you want to view performance graphs (if you have more than one).
  4. After clicking the server number, you will see performance stats for the server. There you can also restart the Operating System, shutdown the Operating System, stop the Virtual Machine, or restart the Virtual Machine. Further, you can choose the resource you wish to change for the Cloud Enterprise account and then click Reconfigure. In most cases, the Virtual Machine must be turned off prior to performing the upgrade. After clicking Reconfigure, a message will be appear stating the result of the operation. Once done, the Virtual Machine can be powered back on.
