View backups for a server in the Customer Portal for Avamar
This article will go over viewing backups for a server that is using Avamar via the customer portal. This applies only to Cloud and Dedicated accounts using Avamar. This does not apply to those servers running Righteous.
- Log into the customer portal at https://customer.hosting.com with your email address and password.
-
Once logged in, navigate to the Backups tab.
- From the drop down, select History.
-
You will see a listing of the servers that are being backed up on the left side of the page.
- Select the server in the list. On the center/right side of the page, the backups will be listed for the server of which includes the date and time the backup was taken and the total size of the backup (in GB). There is also a graph of the history of the server in terms of size of backups over time.
-
Navigating back to the Backups dropdown and selecting Clients will show a listing of the clients using Avamar.
-
From there, you can expand the client list on the left hand side of the page and drill down to the specific server in question. Clicking the server will give a graphical view of backup space over time as well as when the backup stared, total time taken to complete the backup, when the backup ended, total size of the backup, the operation (scheduled, run on demand) performed, and the end result (success or failure).
