What is the Configurator?

The Configurator is a tool within the Hosting.com Customer Portal that allows new and existing customers to purchase solutions online through the portal, without the need to call Hosting.com .

How do I access the Configurator?

As an existing customer, access the Configurator by logging into the Hosting.com Customer Portal.  On the scrolling top menu navigation, select Configurator

As a new customer, view the available solutions via the Hosting.com Configurator webpage.  Once you have decided on a solution, click Order & Customize and you will be directed into the Customer Portal as a guest.

How do I make a purchase?

Can I purchase multiple solutions at one time?

The Configurator allows for the purchase of one solution at a time.  Once you make your first purchase you will be able to login to the Customer Portal as an existing customer and purchase additional solutions.

What are my options within the Configurator?

When you select a solution, you can choose from the following options:

  • Buy Now – Allows you to complete the purchase of your selected solution.  You will be directed to the online Master Service Agreement (MSA) to confirm your purchase.
  • Pass To Sales Rep – Notifies an Account Executive that you are interested in a solution and would like additional assistance.  An Account Executive will contact you.
  • Save For Later – Saves your current solution so that you can return to it at a later time.  If you are a new customer, you will receive a customized link that will allow you to return to the solution.
  • Abandon Changes – removes the selected solution and returns you to the main Configurator page, allowing you to choose a new solution.

How long will it take for my solution to be provisioned?
