Allow third-party access to update my domain information
If your domain is registered with Hosting.com through our registrar TuCows you have the ability to allow third parties to change the domain information.
- In a web browser, navigate to https://manage.opensrs.net
- Enter in the domain name that is being updated, the username for the domain, and the password for the domain. The username and password are typically the administrative username and password for the account. . Click Manage Domain. If the username and password does not work, please contact us.
- Once logged in, navigate to Manage Profile.
- From there, click Create/Manage a Sub-User.
- In the Manage Sub-User page, add a username, password and re-enter the password. Then give the user permissions to access/update the name servers, organization contact, administrative contact, billing/zone contact, technical contact, domain extras (WHOIS privacy, auth code), or reseller contact as you see fit. Click Save Configuration and the user can now log in and manage the domain with the permissions given.
