Transfer of Registrar Failed: 552 Status Does Not Allow for Operation
- Domains cannot be transferred between registrars within the first 60 days; this limit is imposed by ICANN, and cannot be changed.
- If the domain is locked then the owner must contact the current registrar and have it unlocked.
- If the domain is in dispute, there is nothing hosting.com can do until it is settled with the respective parties.
- If the domain is deleted, then hosting.com can register it anew (unless it's still in the previous registrar's database in which case the owner needs to wait for it to be released.)
