Update the Whois information for a domain name
ICANN, the organization responsible for the stability of the Internet requires that each domain name registrant be given the opportunity to correct any inaccurate contact data (WHOIS data) associated with a domain name registration. The following article gives a step by step instruction on how to update Whois information.
- Open a browser window and go to https://manage.safesecureweb.com.
- Enter the requested login information:
- Domain Name: enter your domain name, without the www
- User Name: enter the technical contact username supplied in your setup email
- Password: enter the technical contact password supplied in your setup email
- If you do not have the login details please contact support@hosting.com
- Click Manage Domain.
- From the menu, click on the Admin.
- Update your contact information. At the bottom please check all the contacts that you want to make the changes to and click on Save Configuration.
