Clear Outlook Filters

In Microsoft Outlook, there are a number of ways you can filter email, some of which are not obvious from looking at the main page.  This can cause incoming email to not appear in your inbox, even though it is there.  These filters fall under the View menu in outlook.

Set Filter Options

  1. In Outlook, click  View - Current View - Customise Current View.

  2. If anything other than Off is listed to the right of Filter, click Filter to remove the filter.

  3. Adjust the criteria, or click Clear All to clear the filter.

  4. If there were no filters, or that does not clear the filter, try the Reset Current View button, or adjust the Group By setting.
