Configure Email Rules for Outlook 2011

This article goes over configuring email filter rules for Outlook 2011 for Mac.

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Navigate to the Tools menu and select Rules...
  3. Tools Menu for Outlook 2011
  4. This will open the rules configuration option.  Select the account type, in this case Exchange.  Then click the + sign in the bottom of the dialog screen.

  6. A rule configuration screen will be presented.  Configure the rule according to the email that needs to be filtered.  Ensure that the Enabled checkbox is checked and click OK.  The content filter rule is now created.  The rules are applied in a top down order.
