Import contacts from Excel or a CSV file into Outlook

You can import saved contacts right into outlook either from a premade Excel file or a CSV (comma separated values) file easily.

  1. Open Outlook; click File and click Import and Export
  2. Select Import from another program or file and click Next
  3. Select Comma Separated Values (Windows) or Excel or any other formats and click Next
  4. Click the Browse button and navigate to your file, click Do not import duplicate items and click Next
  5. You can select the folder you wish to import the files, this is usually the Contacts folder, click Next
  6. Click Ok and click Finish
