Leave a copy of email on my mail server with Mac Mail

This guide discusses how to set Mac Mail to leave your email on the mail server. By default Mac Mail will delete the messages from the server after they are downloaded

  1. Click the Mail, then Preferences.
  2. Click on your account to select it.
  3. Click on the Advanced tab
  4. Unselect Remove copy from server after retrieving a message:
