Set up outlook to use more than one profile

The following article explains how to set up outlook for multiple profiles. This can be used to test a new email account without adding it to your normal profile, or to ensure previous email accounts in outlook will not affect a new setup.

1. Close Outlook if it is open.
2. From the Windows Control Panel, double click the Mail icon.

   

3. Click Show Profiles.
4. Choose Prompt for a profile to be used in the set outlook to select a profile at startup.

   

5. Click OK.
6. The next time you start outlook, it will prompt for a profile first.
