Unable to send email through Outlook after installing Norton AntiVirus

Norton AV actually changes the way Outlook sends emails therefore you have to reconfigure it for your server.

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Go to Tools->Accounts and click on the account you're using
  3. Click the Properties button on the right
  4. Click on the Servers Tab
  5. Next to "My Server Requires Authentication" click on "Settings"
  6. Click on "Log on using..." and enter the following information:
    • Account Name: username@domainNamee.xyz (i.e root@lemming.com)
    • Password: your primary FTP password
  7. Click "OK" twice, then "close" and your email should be sending properly.
