Unable to send email through Outlook after installing Norton AntiVirus
Norton AV actually changes the way Outlook sends emails therefore you have to reconfigure it for your server.
- Open Outlook
- Go to Tools->Accounts and click on the account you're using
- Click the Properties button on the right
- Click on the Servers Tab
- Next to "My Server Requires Authentication" click on "Settings"
-
Click on "Log on using..." and enter the following information:
- Account Name: username@domainNamee.xyz (i.e root@lemming.com)
- Password: your primary FTP password
- Click "OK" twice, then "close" and your email should be sending properly.
