How do I configure the MX record for my Exchange Hosting account?

The following article explains how to configure the MX record for your Exchange Hosting account. The MX record will be based on the configuration you selected for your account.

Exchange Only

If your account is configured to use Exchange for every mailbox, you will point your MX record to gateway.myexchangeemail.com.

Split Mailboxes

If your account is configured to use Exchange for some mailboxes and SmarterMail for the remaining mailboxes, you will point your MX record to mail#.safesecureweb.com. The exact address can be found in your setup email. This should be configured for your domain by default.
