Install / Use FileCatalyst Express

Windows

1. Download the installer (install_fc_express.exe).
2. Double-click the installer icon to launch the install.
3. Step through the installation wizard, which will contain the license agreement as well as prompt for installation and shortcut locations.
4. Once installed, use the newly added Menu Item to your start menu to run FileCatalyst Express.

Mac

1. Download the Zip archive (fc_express.zip).
2. Double-click the zip archive to extract the application.
3. Copy the Application to your Applications directory.
4. Double-Click to run the Application.

Using FileCatalyst Express

Setup a site by using the Site Manager. Click File>Site Manager.

1. Enter Site name.
2. Enter Hostname.
3. Enter Username.
4. Enter Password.

This is all that is needed to connect to a remote site, you can use the advanced tabs to add advanced configuration options as well as limit bandwidth that is used. Keep in mind that this works with a normal FTP server or FileCatalyst Server, you will get better performance if you use this to connect to a FileCatalyst Server.

Once this software is installed it will install documentation that is located in the Start menu as well that can walk you through more advanced tasks with this software.
