How do I add BlackBerry service to an Exchange Mailbox?
The following article explains how to add BlackBerry service to an Exchange mailbox. Once enabled, the user can access their Exchange account through their BlackBerry mobile device. BlackBerry services must be configured for each user that wishes to use their BlackBerry mobile device to access their Exchange mailbox.
To add BlackBerry service, please follow these steps:
- Open a browser window and go to www.HostMySite.com
- Click on Control Panel Login.
- Log into the Control Panel as the Account Administrator and select the appropriate domain.
- Click Hosted Exchange & SharePoint.
- Find the domain name and click Manage.
- From the Main Menu, click BlackBerry.
- Click Add.
- Select the User.
- Enter the users Exchange mailbox password. This is required for Blackberry setup.
- Click Add.
Please allow a few minutes for the BlackBerry user to be configured on the Hosted Exchange platform. The user will then need to activate their BlackBerry to connect to the Exchange server.
