Configure Android 2.3 For Exchange

With the release of Android OS 2.3, there has been a minor change on how Exchange is configured. This only applies to Android devices running 2.3 and if you are running 2.1 or 2.2 please refer to the following article;

Setting Up Exchange

1. From the Android Home Screen, pull up the "Applications Menu".
2. Touch the "Settings" icon.
3. Touch "Accounts".



4. Touch "Add Account" to add your Exchange mailbox
   

   

5. Touch "Corporate Sync".



6. Here you will need to provide your Email Address, Password,Domain and Username. This information can be found in your HMC Control Panel or by following this link - https://hmcportal.hostmysite.com/Login.aspx.
   
   Your Email Adress: Your Hosting.com Exchange Email Address
   Password: Your Hosting.com Exchange Email Password
   Domain: Enter HMC as your domain
   Username: Your username is your Hosting.com Exchange Nickname
   Server: mobile.myexchangeemail.com
   
   Once you enter in the required information, touch "next". 





7. The exchange mailbox will then be added to your Android Device.



 

8. Touch "Done" to complete the process.
