Configure my Android device for Exchange

This article explains how to configure your Android phone to sync with hosted Exchange mailbox. Once configured you will be able to send and receive email from your Android phone.

1. From the Android Home Screen, pull up the Applications Menu
2. Touch the Settings icon

   

3. Touch Accounts & sync

   

4. Touch Add account to add your Exchange mailbox

   

5. Enter your full Exchange E-mail Address and Password

   

6. Enter the requested information:
   • Domain\User Name: enter HMC\{your Exchange User Nick name}.
   • Password: enter your Exchange mailbox password
   • Exchange Server: enter mobile.myexchangeemail.com
   • Use secure connections (SSL): check this box
   • Accept all SSL certificates: check this box

   

7. Touch Next
8. Select your desired settings

   

9. Touch Next
10. Enter your desired display name in the Your name (displayed on outgoing messages) box
    
11. Touch Done

Your Exchange mailbox is now synced with your Android phone. You will now see a new icon in your Applications Menu for the Corporate Calendar. This is where your Exchange Calendar items are stored.
