Configure Palm Pre for Exchange

This article explains how to configure your Palm Pre to sync with hosted Exchange mailbox. Once configured you will be able to send and receive email from your Palm Pre

1. Select the E-Mail icon from the Home screen

   .

2. Touch the Email dropdown box located in the upper-left corner. Select Manual Setup

   

3. Enter the requested information
   • Mail Type: select Exchange (EAS)
   • Email Address: enter your Exchange E-mail Address
   • Incoming Mail Server: enter https://mobile.myexchangeemail.com
   • Domain: enter HMC
   • User Name: enter the User Nick Name found in the HMC Administration portal at https://hmcportal.hostmysite.com.
   • Password: enter the password for the Exchange mailbox
4. Touch Sign In

   

5. Touch Done to complete the setup

   

Your Palm Pre is now synced with your Exchange Mailbox. Your contacts and calendar items will be available in their respective applications.
