Configure an iPhone for an Exchange Mailbox

The following article explains how to configure the iPhone to link to your Exchange mailbox. Once configured you will be able to send and receive emails on your iPhone.

To create the account on your iPhone, please follow these steps:

1. From the Dashboard, click Settings.
2. Under Settings, select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
3. Select Add Account...
4. Select Microsoft Exchange.
5. Enter the requested information:
   • Email: enter the full email address
   • Domain: enter HMC
   • Username: enter the User Nick Name found in the HMC Administration portal at https://hmcportal.hostmysite.com. This usually follows the format user_domain.com but can vary from user to user depending on length as some addresses will be truncated.
   • Password: enter the password for the mailbox
   • Description: enter HMC
   
6. Click Next.
7. As the Server name, enter mobile.myexchangeemail.com
8. Click Next.
9. Set the following:
   • Mail: ON
   • Contacts: OFF
   • Calendars: OFF
   
10. Click Save.
