Delete a Root Level Folder with Hosted Messaging and Collaboration

The following article explains how to delete a root level public folder. Once deleted, the public folder can no longer be accessed and all contents of the folder will be deleted. .

To delete a root level public folder, please follow these steps:

  1. Log into the HMC administration interface by logging into the control panel and clicking Hosted Exchange & SharePoint.
  2. From the Main Menu, click Domain List.

  3. Find the domain name and click Manage.

  4. From the Main Menu, click Public Folders.

  5. Click Delete.

  6. When asked to continue, click Delete.

  7. Please allow a few minutes for the root level public folder to be deleted.
