Reset a Password with Hosted Messaging and Collaboration

The following article explains how to reset a user's password. You do not need to know the current password to reset it.

To reset a user's password, please follow these steps:

  1. Log into the HMC administration interface by logging into the control panel and clicking Hosted Exchange & SharePoint.
  2. From the Main Menu, click Domain List.

  3. Find the domain name and click Manage.

  4. Find the user and click Edit.

  5. Enter the new password following the security requirements

  6. Re-enter the password for verification and click Change Password.
