How do I manually configure Outlook 2007 for my Exchange Hosting account?

The following article explains how to manually configure Outlook 2007 to connect to your Exchange Hosting account. During the configuration, you will create a new profile for Outlook. This will allow you to have multiple profiles if you use Outlook to connect to different mail accounts.

If you are using Outlook 2003, we recommend upgrading to Outlook 2007. The install file for Outlook 2007 is available in your Control Panel. If you are unable to upgrade to Outlook 2007, you can manually configure Outlook 2003.

To configure Outlook, please follow these steps:

  1. Close Outlook 2007 if it is open.
  2. From the Windows Control Panel, double click the Mail icon.
  3. Click Show Profiles.
  4. Click Add in the Profiles window to create a new outlook profile that will be used for the Exchange user.
  5. Enter a profile name and click OK.
  6. Check the box at the bottom for Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next.

  11. If prompted to login, log in using the full email address and password of the user created.
