How do I setup my Hosted Exchange mailbox in Outlook

The following article explains how to setup a mailbox in Outlook. The setup process involves generating a setup file and running the file on your local machine. This will configure a profile in Outlook that will connect to the Exchange mailbox. This process only needs to be done once for the mailbox.

Note: Outlook must be closed before the profiler is run.

To setup a mailbox in Outlook, please follow these steps:

  1. Open a browser window and go to https://hmcportal.safesecureweb.com
  2. Log in with the email address and password for the mailbox.
  3. Click Setup Outlook Account.
  4. Enter a name for the Outlook Profile.
  5. Click Submit.
  6. Save the file to your local machine.
  7. Close Outlook if it is open.
  8. Run SetupProfile.exe

Once the setup file completes, a new profile will be created that will allow you to manage your Hosted Exchange mailbox.
