Remove a list of email addresses from my list server mailing list

The following article explains how to add remove addresses to your mailing lists. When administering a mailing list it is essential that you keep your list up to date with removal requests and bounces. It is not unusual for up to 20% of list messages to bounce or generate unsubscribe requests.

  1. Open a browser window go to one of the following URLs:
    • http://list.yourdomainname.com
    • http://server.safesecureweb.com - server name provided when list was created
  2. Login as root@list.yourdomainname.com with your primary FTP password.
  3. From the Domain Settings menu select Mailing Lists.
  4. Select the List you want to remove addresses from, and choose Edit.
  5. Choose Subscribers from the Subscribers menu.

  6. To remove specific addresses, you can add a check mark next to the names, and click Delete.

  7. As your list gets longer, it can help to use the search feature to find the addresses to remove.

  8. Deletions are immediate, so be careful when clicking delete.
  9. Prior to deleting, you can back up your list with the download button.
