Creating Meta Tags with Miva 5.5

Miva Merchant 5.5 gives you the ability to assign Meta Tags to products and categories. Meta Tags are used by search engines and are of the utmost importance no matter what you sell as they help summarize each page's content and keywords.

Assign Meta Keywords and Descriptions

1. Navigate to the product or category (as if you were going to make edits to the item)
2. Click the Meta Tag Settings link
3. Enter the content and click Update
