Give Customers the Best Price with Price Group Overlap Resolution in Miva 5.5

Since customers can be assigned to one or more Price Groups you need to tell MIVA Merchant which price they should see and pay. There is no staggering factor here – they either see the highest price or the lowest price. Chances are if you are offering special discounts, this will be the lowest price.

When you created the store you were given an option for Price Group Overlap Resolution. Now's the time to check to make sure you will be offering the proper price for the customers in conjunction with any Price Groups you have created.

1. In the Admin Menu, click on the link for you store
2. Click on the Settings link
3. In the Price Group Overlap Resolution menu, choose Highest Price or Lowest Price
4. Choose the Highest, and the customers will pay the highest possible price. Choose Lowest and the customers will pay the lowest possible price according to any Price Groups to which they may be assigned
5. Click the Update button
