How do I intergrate Dreamweaver with MIVA Merchant?
The following article explains how to intergrate Dreamweaver with MIVA Merchant. Miva Merchant Designer allows you to create pages and components for MIVA Merchant 5.5 in Dreamweaver. Once installed, you are able to select pages from MIVA Merchant, export them to your local machine, modify them in Dreamweaver and then import them back into MIVA Merchant.
To install Miva Merchant Designer, please follow these steps:
- Open a browser window and go to http://www.mivamerchant.com/
- From the Support menu, click Patches
and Downloads.

- Click Miva Merchant Designer.

- Right click Download and save the mm_designer.zip file to your local machine.
- Unzip the contents of the zip file to your local machine.
- Open the Adobe Extension Manager.

- Click File and select Install Extension.
- Browse to and select the mmdesigner.mxp file you downloaded and
click Install.

- Read the disclaimer and click Accept.
- When the installation completes, click OK.
- Log into the Miva administration section.
- Click the Miva store and select Dreamweaver
Import/Export Settings. This is where your template files
will stored after they are exported.

- From the left side navigation, click Pages and increase the display number to a number that is greater than the number of pages you have. For example, if you have 10 pages, increase the number to 12.
- Select the files you wish to export and click
Update.

- Connect to your Miva Merchant FTP site.
- Make the necessary changes to the file within Dreamweaver and save the files.
- Within the Miva administration section, select import for each
file that was updated and click Update.
