Add a New Domain in Plesk 10

This articles goes over adding a domain to the Plesk interface for Plesk 10.  This applies only to Linux Cloud and Linux Dedicated accounts.   If you're looking for the same steps for Plesk 8 or 9, please see Adding a Domain via Plesk.

  1. Open a web browser and connect to your Plesk Control Panel located at https://ip address:8443.  Accept the self-signed SSL security warning you may receive.
  2. Log in as the administrator using the information sent to you in your setup email.
  3. If you have an existing customer setup, click Customers.  Otherwise, setup a new Customer.
  4. Plesk Interface
  5. Next, click Add New Subscription. Enter in the domain, select an IP address, a username and secure password, and a service plan.  If you wish to configure the options for the account further, check the checkbox for Proceed to customizing the subscription parameters after it is created.

  7. Under the additional parameters screen you can change the quota, disk space, subdomain usage, mailboxes, and so forth.  Once done, click Update & Lock.  The domain is now created in Plesk with those parameters.

  9. The last step is adding DNS for the domain via the customer portal.  This should match the DNS setup within Plesk and assumes you're not running bind on the server (in which case if you are, DNS is already setup and configured).
