Suspend a domain in Plesk 9

This article will go over suspending or un-suspending a domain in Plesk 9 for Linux. This is useful if a client does not pay or is exceeding their resources.

  1. Log into Plesk as the account admin. This is located at the following URL: https://<your_server_ip_address>:8443
  2. Once logged in, navigate to Home on the left hand side of the screen.

  3. Under the Domains section, select Suspend Domain or Unsuspend Domain depending on the action you wish to take.

  4. A list of domains on the server will be shown. Domains that can be unsuspended will have a red X next to them. Click the check box next to the domain(s) you wish to take action on, and click Finish.

If you are suspending a domain, the domain will resolve the Default Plesk Page once suspended. If you unsuspend a domain, the change is instant and the domain files will be visible again when browsing to the domain in a web browser.
