Sign up for a free SiteDesigner trial account

The following article explains how to sign up for a free SiteDesigner trial account. This article is intended for new customers that do not currently have a hosting account with hosting.com. If you already have a hosting account with us, you can find instructions for signing up for SiteDesigner here.

The free trial allows you to create a website using SiteDesigner. The trial interface reflects the interface of the base-level SiteDesigner plan. You can create your site, but you will not be able to publish your work until you purchase a hosting account and activate the full version of SiteDesigner. Once this occurs, the site you created in SiteDesigner can be published to your hosting account and viewable on the Internet.

To sign up for the free trial, please follow these steps:

1. Open a browser window and go to the sign up page located here.
2. Choose No and click Submit. 



3. Enter the necessary information:
   • First Name: enter your first name
   • Last Name: enter your last name
   • Your e-mail: enter a valid email address to receive the signup information
   • Phone Number: enter a phone number where we can reach you

   

4. Click Submit.

Once the form is submitted you will receive a setup email that contains a link to hosting.com's Control Panel as well as a username and password you can use to login and begin creating your site in SiteDesigner. When you are ready to purchase a hosting account and upgrade to the full version of SiteDesigner, you can find instructions here.

You can create your site, but you will not be able to publish your work until you purchase a hosting account and activate the full version of SiteDesigner.
