How do I increase performance of my inbox in SmarterMail?

SmarterMail 3 introduced a new feature called Enhanced Message List. This feature uses a new technology called AJAX that allows for easy sorting and paging of your messages in your inbox and your other folders. An example of this feature is the slider bar at the bottom of your inbox that appears when you have more than 1 page of emails.

For users on older systems or certain browsers like Opera, Safari or IE for Macs, you may experience a decrease in the performance of SmarterMail because of this feature. In these cases, you can simply disable the Enhanced Message List feature. When disabled, your inbox and folder lists will function as a previous version of SmarterMail and the performance should increase. Instructions for disabling this feature can be found here.
