Automatically delete old junk mail or deleted items for my email users

One of the fastest ways you can fill up a mailbox is by letting the Junk mail or Deleted items fill up. To help address this you can create rules to manage the size of your users mailboxes. By default, Hosting.com servers will delete Junk mail more than a month old.

1. Log in to your webmail as an administrative user such as root@
2. On the top menu, click "Settings"
3. From the left menu expand "Domain Settings"
4. Expand "Advanced Settings
5. Choose "Folder Auto-clean"

   

6. Choose "Override auto-clean settings for this account"
7. Click the "Folders" tab

   

8. Click "Add Rule"

   

9. Choose a folder to filter
10. Choose a type of filtering (date or size)
11. Enter criteria
12. Shown above are the options for date which is the recommended way to set up a folder rule
13. Shown below is size which can help keep your mail under a cap but is less predictable when messages will be deleted
