Install the SmarterMail Language Pack

SmarterMail does offer a free language pack that supports different languages that can allow SmarterMail to be customized to a user's needs.

1. Log into your server through Remote Desktop Connection (instructions for connecting to your server through RDC can be found here)
2. Unzip the file to a temporary folder on the server.
3. Copy the files from the zip file to the _languages folder typically located in the following locations:

   C:\Program Files\SmarterTools\SmarterMail\MRS\Skins\_languages

   C:\Program Files\SmarterTools\SmarterMail\MRS\App_Data\Translations

   Note: You may need to create the skins and _languages folder if it does not exist.

4. If prompted, choose to replace the existing files in this directory to ensure the language packs are up to date.
5. Check the permissions on the files to ensure either Network Service or ASPNET user has read permissions.
6. Once the files are in the directory, they will be immediately available.
