Propagate settings to all domains in SmarterMail

This article will go over how to set server-wide settings as the SmarterMail administrative server user and how to make those settings retroactively apply to all domains on the server. This is only for Dedicated and Cloud Windows servers. This does not apply to shared accounts.

  1. Log into SmarterMail admin. This is typically http://<server_IP_address>:9998
  2. Navigate to Settings

  3. Click Defaults > Domain Defaults

  4. Once you have configured and saved the defaults, go back to Defaults > Domain Propagation
  5. If everything looks as expected, click Propagate Now and all of the settings will be propagated to all domains on the server within SmarterMail
