How do I adjust my Premium Spam Filtering filter settings?
The following article explains how to adjust your Premium Spam Filtering filter settings. Premium Spam Filtering filtering is based on 4 categories: 'Sexually Explicit', 'Get Rich Quick', 'Special Offers' and 'Racially Insensitive'. You have the option of adjusting the overall level of filtering or adjusting each category. Filters are adjusted on a per user basis allowing each user to determine their own level of filtering.
To adjust your overall filter setting, please follow these steps:
- Open a browser window and go to https://login.postini.com/
- Log in with your email address and password for Premium Spam Filtering.
- From the menu in the upper right corner, click
Settings.

- Under Junk Quarantine Settings, click
Adjust Filters.

- Move the slide bar or use the drop down menu to select the
appropriate value.

- Click Save Changes.
You also have the option to view and adjust the values of each category.
To adjust each category, please follow these steps:
- Click Show Individual Filters.

- Move the slide bar or use the drop down menu to select the
appropriate value for each category.

- Click Save Changes.
Once the changes are applied, we recommend you review your quarantine summary closely over the next few days to ensure the new levels are not causing legitimate messages to be quarantined.
