How do I manage my SQL 2000 database using Enterprise Manager?
The following section explains how to setup SQL Enterprise Manager to administer your SQL 2000 Database included with your SQL server hosting account. If you do not have a copy of Enterprise Manager, you can order an evaluation copy from Microsoft by clicking here.
To manage your SQL 2000 database, please follow these steps:
- Open Enterprise Manager.
- Right click on SQL Server Group Icon and click
New Server Registration.

- Click Next to begin the wizard.

- Enter in the address of the SQL Server,
servername.safesecureweb.com. This was provided in your
setup email.

- Click Add.
- Select The SQL Server login information that was
assigned to me by the system administrator.

- Click Next.
- Select Login automatically using my SQL Server Account information.
- Enter your username and password.

- Click Next.
- Select Add the SQL server to an existing SQL
Group.

- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
Enterprise Manager will now connect you to your SQL 2000 database. When you connect for the first time it may take up to 10 minutes for the full list of databases to propagate.
