Can I use my XRamp certificate with Google Checkout?
Google recently released a new service called Google Checkout which allows you to advertise your online store through Google. Your customers can then purchase from your store right through Google. Since Google Checkout is a new service, the number of secure certificates accepted is limited.
XRamp certificates are currently not supported by Google Checkout. XRamp is in the process of upgrading their certificates to be compatible with Google's certificate requirements.
To take advantage of the Google Checkout service, you will need a certificate for your store that is supported by Google. Our support staff can assist you in purchasing a Geotrust certificate, which is compatible with Google Checkout. Please contact our support staff to order a Geotrust certificate.
