Checking For Installed Updates In Windows 2008
- Log into the Windows 2008 Server via Remote Desktop or VNC
- Once logged on, navigate to the Control Panel by going to Start --> Control Panel. In the Control Panel you will need to click on "Programs and Features".
- On the left hand side on 'Programs and Features" is an option to "View Installed Updates", click this.
- Here you can now see when an update or hotfix was insalled on your Windows 2008 server. You can also sort them by the name of the installed file, publisher, Program the update was installed for and date of the install.
